Jalen Rose DUI arrest (POLICE VIDEO)

ESPN analyst Jalen Rose was involved in a single-vehicle accident on March 11 when his Cadillac Escalade went off an icy Detroit-area road. Rose was arrested for DUI and here’s the police cam arrest video:

When the police arrived on scene, a sobriety test was given and by the looks of this video, he may have earned his arrest from his lame performance at about the 1:15 mark.

Although the actual results of that test have not yet been released, Rose has indicated that his “blood alcohol level was above the legal limit” and has since apologized saying,

“I regret the decision to drive home that evening and am grateful that no one was hurt in the accident… I am particularly sorry for disappointing those who trust me to serve as a role model for young people.”

This report comes just weeks after Rose, shown in his mugshot here, made headlines for his controversial comments during The Fab Five ESPN documentary, which took an insight look into his college career at Michigan with former teammates Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson.

Never one to shy away from the spotlight, it should be interesting to see how he handles this situation.
