Milton Bradley arrested? Yep. And not only is it the second time this year, it involved baseball, well sort of. The former Los Angeles Dodgers player allegedly swung a bat at his wife but of course missed.
According to police, the incident is said to have occurred in Bradley’s San Fernando Valley home in Los Angeles. Bradley, thirty-three years old and obviously missing baseball, was arrested and charged with suspicion of felony assault.
Police said what began as an argument escalated when Milton grabbed a bat and began swinging it at his wife, chasing her out of the couple’s home. After Bradley left the home, police were able to track him down and that lead to him going “Directly to Jail” while not passing “Go” and not collecting $200 but rather paying a $30,000 bail.
This is Bradley’s second incident related to domestic violence this year although that first incident did not result in any charges.
Bradley, who played for eight teams over 12 seasons was always getting moved, many times due to his reputation of controversial on and off the field issues.
A few of those issues occurred in L.A. when he was playing for the Dodgers and threw a water bottle toward fans and followed that gaffe up with a confrontation with an L.A. Times sportswriter.
